Directions From M25:

  • Exit M25 at junction 13.

  • At the roundabout, take the exit onto A30 heading to M25 (S) / Bagshot / Egham / Windsor / A308. This will be the second exit if you have come from the north, and the 4th exit if you have come from the south.  It will feel as if you are getting back onto the M25 - but don't panic - just keep to the left.

  • The road will lead you round a long left turn under the M25 to a roundabout. Take the second exit onto the dual carriageway.

  • At the end of the dual carriageway there is a roundabout, take the 3rd exit, taking you up the hill passing the BP garage on your left.

  • The main entrance to Royal Holloway is ~0.7 miles along this road on the left.

Directions by train:

  • Royal Holloway is located in Egham, which has a station on the Waterloo Reading line.

  • Take the Reading train from Waterloo, make sure the train stops at Egham.

  • When you have arrived at Egham station you may either take a taxi from the taxi rank or walk. I have provided instructions for walking bellow if this is your preferred option:

Walking from Egham station:

  • These direction will take you to the east gate on the campus map, which is marked "By foot to Egham". It will take you about 15 mins to get onto campus from the station, plus another 5 mins to walk to the meeting room through campus.

  • Coming from London you arrive on platform 2. Walk to the very end of the platform where the level crossing is and cross the track either over the level crossing or the bridge.

  • Immediately on your left you will see Rusham Road running parallel to the train track. Walk down this road. (Make sure the train track is on your left!)

  • Take the third road on your right called Osborne Road - at the end of this road turn left onto Clarence Street.

  • Take the first road on your right called Ripley Avenue.

  • Take the first road on your left called Lynwood Avenue.

  • At the end of Lynwood Avenue the road sweeps to the right do not follow the road. Instead take the path ahead leading between two fences. Up this path there is a turning on the left that seems to head into the wilderness - take this path!

  • From here you will be on the campus map as indicated above. The read lines on the map are the main roads and pathways - you can use these to get to the meeting building. To get to the main road from the east gate you just used climb the first set of stairs you come across. Once on the road turn right and follow the map.
